The Mitsumi membrane lock switch is an alternate action switch used with Mitsumi KPQ Type. The switch has mechanical parts by necessity, but it provides a conductive rubber foot that connects membrane traces. In theory this switch could be used with other Mitsumi hybrid switch types, but thus far it has only been found in a single model of keyboard.
The follower arm is a piece of bent copper wire that hooks inside a copper leaf spring, just as with Mitsumi standard mechanical.
