KPQ-EA4ZA and KPQ-EA5ZA are Mitsumi KPQ Type keyboards designed for Windows 95; they are in effect Mitsumi KPQ-E99ZC keyboards with Windows keys added.
Description[edit | edit source]
A set of pegs underneath the keyboard form Mitsumi's (at the time) patent-pending arrangement for shortening the keyboard cable, by allowing the user to wrap the unneeded portion of the cable around these pegs. The datasheet lists it as "conforming to DIN standard". Keycap printing methods offered are pad printing (offered by default) and laser marking.
Variants[edit | edit source]
104-key keyboards are model KPQ-EA4ZA, and 105-key keyboards are model KPQ-EA5ZA.
Layouts depicted in the datasheet are:
- "BIG ENTER 104 KEYBOARD" (104-key Asian 101)
- "STANDARD ENTER 105 KEYBOARD" (105-key ISO)
- "STANDARD ENTER 104 KEYBOARD" (104-key ANSI)
This keyboard has also been seen with a case still bearing the older model number of KPQ-E99ZC.<ref name="utk" />
