Strong Man SMK-85 was a 75% keyboard, or a family of keyboards, from Strong Man. It was available in several colour schemes including all black<ref name="NewSMK85" />, silver with black keys and silver with white/grey keys.<ref name="ThreeSMK85" /> The keycaps are pad printed ABS.

It is a modern keyboard with a Windows key, and a numeric keypad layer.

The SMK-85 has used several different switches, including claims which have never been independently verified.

  • Black simplified Alps SKBM Black (SMK-85E/90JPU / KM9-2S8M9BSMK)<ref name="xsphat-Flickr" /><ref name="NewSMK85" />
  • White simplified Alps SKBM White <ref name="ThreeSMK85" />
  • Linear Alps switches (unconfirmed)<ref name="ErgoCanada" />
  • "StrongMan Tactile Mechanical" switches (unconfirmed)<ref name="ErgoCanada" /> which appear to be Hua-Jie AK series switches (alps.tw Type T4, T8, or OA2)<ref name="ThreeSMK85" />
