RRE MX clone is a clone of Cherry MX Black from RRE.

So far these switches have been spotted in a Wyse PCE Int’l Keyboard manufactured for Wyse by RRE in 1995.<ref name="Deskthority-Wyse-RRE" />

Production of these switches ended "many years ago" and there are no spares available.<ref name="C-RRE" />

Internals

RRE Cherry MX Clone switches internally copy their original counterparts. They use different materials to Cherry MX e.g. top shell appears to be made out of much more glossy and stiff material.
