Philips torsion spring
Manufacturer Philips

Philips torsion spring is an informal designation for a keyboard switch that appears to have been made by Philips. The design bears very strong resemblance to Philips cranked wire, which is a switch design patented by Philips, and consequently this switch is being treated as a Philips product. (There is no branding on the switches.)

Where Philips cranked wire has a perimeter wire as the movable contact, this switch has a helical spring placed along one side of the switch. It would not be a surprise to find this switch manufactured under the same patent as the previous switch, as the key details are the same.
