NEC vintage linear is an NEC-branded switch that greatly resembles the SMK vintage linear. Subtle differences in the shape of the plate retention clips differentiate the design from other switches of this style. Also, the slider is blue instead of black.
The only known keyboard has an NEC-branded PCB with a code that appears to read "J-M9030-02Ⓒ"; this is an SMK code, indicating that SMK were involved. Considering that only one example has been found to date, it would appear that NEC sub-contracted the keyboard out to SMK and specified that the switches also be NEC-branded.
