Matsushita prong over membrane is a prong over membrane design. The keycap features three posts; two of the posts (one each at the front and back) have lugs that hold the keycap within the guide plate, and a third post in the corner may provide stabilisation. A centre shaft contains the helical return spring, which in turn presses on the membrane pressure prong.
