This keyboard is Lexmark's own branded counterpart of IBM's Model M with P/N 1391401. The product was advertised together with an alternative "Quiet Touch" version with rubber domes akin to IBM's 71G4646 Model M for noise-sensitive environments.<ref name=Advert/>
