Enhanced Keyboard International[edit | edit source]
This is an Ireland-made version of the Compaq Enhanced keyboard. The key surround is grey instead of black, and there is no FCC ID.<ref name="DT-Ireland" /> The two keyboards appear to be otherwise identical, although presumably there are also ISO versions of the Ireland-made version.
Enhanced II Keyboard[edit | edit source]
This is a redesigned version with a smaller case. The keycap design remains the same. It appears to have usually been supplied with a PS/2 connector. Both ANSI and ISO versions exist.<ref name ="ebay-enhancedii-iso" /> The Key Tronic-made version still uses foam and foil,<ref name="geekhack-enhancedii-versions" /> and a version manufactured by Matsushita comes with rubber dome keyswitches.<ref name="imgur-enhancedii-rubber" />
Enhanced III Keyboard[edit | edit source]
This appears to be a cost-saving update of the Enhanced II Keyboard. The removable SDL cable is replaced with a fixed cable and the lock lights are no longer located on the keys, instead being located below the logo.<ref name="ebay-enhancediii" /> Observed examples feature Key Tronic dome with slider switches.
