Cherry MX Soft Click Clear is a provisional term for an non-pigmented clicky switch; it was previously known as "Vintage Type B" White, but it appears not to be related to Cherry MX White. The most likely explanation so far is that it was a very early version of Cherry MX Blue before pigment was utilised to help distinguish switches. Details on this switch remain scarce. Specimens exist both with and without the "cam" that is usually found on Cherry MX Clicky switches. Specimens have been found featuring signs of stock lubrication, though this is not entirely verified. A heavier version of this switch exists, identified by red paint on the bottom of the switch.
