Jelco JKS-91 is an integrated dome discrete key switch which appears to be modelled after the Alps SKCC series. Unlike the Alps integrated dome series, the JKS-91 uses two vertically-mounted contacts (which extend down as the legs) with a rubber dome that fits inside a vertically-mounted cartridge similar to a switchplate. The slider's vertical travel is converted to horizontal motion by way of an actuator leaf very similar to those in mechanical switchplates. ==Keyboards== *MicroBee PC 85 (Model II) keyboard ==Other equipment== *Teletrans EC-122 calculator (momentary and dummy; unconfirmed) ==Gallery== <gallery widths=250 heights=187> File:Jelco JKS-91 -- low angle.jpg | Low angle showing base and legs File:Jelco JKS-91 -- base removed.jpg | Base removed File:Jelco JKS-91 -- rear of switchplate.jpg | Rear view of "switchplate" cartridge File:Jelco JKS-91 -- return spring.jpg | Return spring File:Jelco JKS-91 -- spring and slider.jpg | Return spring and slider File:Jelco JKS-91 -- contact mechanism.jpg | Contact mechanism File:Jelco JKS-91 -- dome and terminals.jpg | Rubber dome and terminals File:Jelco JKS-91 -- switchplate disassembled.jpg | "Switchplate" disassembled, and terminals removed from the base </gallery> ==External links== *Microbee Technology β downloads β Jelco JKS91 repair guide.
