The Ducky Shine 4 was launched in late 2014 as a replacement of the Ducky Shine 3. It is available with blue, brown, black, red, green or clear Cherry MX switches.
Model numbers[edit | edit source]
The Ducky Shine 4 is available with different switches, layouts and colours. The model numbers spotted so far suggest that they follow this format:
(A)(BBB)L(C)(D)BR1
where:
- A = switch type (A = Cherry MX Black, B = Cherry MX Brown, C = Cherry MX Blue, G = Cherry MX Green, R = Cherry MX Red, W = Cherry MX Clear)
- BBB = layout (USA = US, DEA = German, etc.)
- C = keycap colour (A = black, W = white)
- D = case colour (A = black, R = red, S = grey, W = white)
Please note that not all combinations of colours and layouts are necessarily available.
