Alps SKCC Brown switches have been discovered in a pre-production Apple IIe computer<ref name="Deskthority"/>. It is not known whether SKCC Brown were ever entered into production. Another instance of Alps SKCC Brown has been found in a Facebook post from 2018<ref name="Facebook"/>.
