The Cherry B4VB-5601 is a keyboard from Cherry that was used in the Kroy 80K Keyboard Lettering System.

Layout[edit | edit source]

The B4VB-5601 uses a proprietary QWERTY based layout specific to the Kroy 80K

Switches[edit | edit source]

The B4VB-5601 uses Cherry solid state capacitive switches, which are a "foam and foil" type switch. All ICs are dated 1984, and the switches are the apparently revised design found in the Cherry Keyboards (KB79-2R) catalogue from May 1982, rather than the design in the earlier KB79-2 catalogue.
