The '''Chicony KB-2961''' is a rubber dome keyboard from [[Chicony]].

==Description==
The keyboard is very common, with many different configurations available. One model may come with an [[AT keyboard interface|AT connector]], whereas another model may come with a [[Universal Serial Bus|USB connector]]. The keyboard is available in three known color configurations: full black, full white, and partial white with grey modifiers. It features a [[Return key|big-ass Enter]] key and single-[[unit]] backspace.

Many of the lighter models use lasered [[ABS]] keycaps. The darker models most likely use pad printed [[ABS]] keycaps, though this has yet to be confirmed.

It is notorious for being mistaken as a mechanical keyboard. While Chicony did manufacture mechanical keyboards, they also made quite a few rubber dome keyboards, and the KB-2961 is no exception. There are currently no known examples of the Chicony KB-2961 that use mechanical key switches. The keyboard uses pressure domes over a membrane.
