{{infobox dkeyboard | fcc = | pn = | branding = | manufacturer = [[Marquardt]] | switch = [[Marquardt Series 6184]]<ref name="gh-thread-2" /> | switch mount = [[switch mount|Plate mounted]] | layouts = Slightly modified [[ISO]] | interface = [[PS/2 interface|PS/2]] for keys, RS232 (1200 Baud) for trackball over a DA-15 D-SUB connector<ref name="gh-thread"/> | rollover = [[NKRO]] | weight = 3.38 kg | years = | price = }} The '''Marquardt 7069.3111''' is fullsize, plate-mounted keyboard manufactured by [[Marquardt]] for the ''Deutsche Bundeswehr''. The keyboard was part of the HEROS-System (''Heeresführungs - Informationssystem für die Rechnergestützte Operationsführung in Stäben'') and consisted out of a Digital Equipment DECpc433 mounted inside a EDKA aluminium box. The keyboard itself was attached inside the box top. The keycaps are [[Cherry_MX|Cherry MX]]-compatible [[Double-shot_molding|double shots]]. The housing is made out of aluminium, with the bottom plate being 2mm and the top being 6mm thick. ==Pinouts== Even though equipped with a 15 Pin D-Sub connector the keyboard uses ordinary PS2 signalling, therefore it can easily be used on modern PCs. The pin out is as follows<ref name="gh-thread"/>: {| class="wikitable" border="1" |- ! PCB connector ! Signal ! D-SUB ! Cable colour |- | Pin 1 | +5V | Pin 15 | Brown |- | Pin 2 | GROUND | Pin 7, 11, 14 | White |- | Pin 3 | KDB_CLK | Pin 13 | White |- | Pin 4 | KDB_DATA | Pin 12 | Green |- | Pin 5 | RS232-MOUSE | Pin 2 | White |- | Pin 6 | Unknown | Pin 4 | Yellow |} The serial signal for the trackball operates at a speed of 1200 Baud. The trackball can be put into operation with the following addition to xorg.conf<ref name="gh-thread"/>: <nowiki> ,----[ xorg.conf ] | Section "InputDevice" | Identifier "heros ball" | Driver "mouse" | Option "CorePointer" | Option "Sensitivity" "2.0" | Option "Device" "/dev/ttyS0" | Option "Protocol" "mouse systems" | EndSection `---- </nowiki> ==Gallery== <gallery widths=250 heights=187> File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_topview.jpg | Top view File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_topview2.jpg | Top view File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_numberpad.jpg | Numeric keypad File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_trackball_and_arrowkeys.jpg | Trackball and arrow keys File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_keys.jpg | Keys File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_modifier.jpg | Modifier File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_label.jpg | Label File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_bottomplate.jpg | Bottom plate File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_bottomplate_removed.jpg | Bottom plate removed File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_housing_sealing.jpg | Metal sealing at housing File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_pcb.jpg | Marquardt label on PCB File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_trackball.jpg | Trackball with ball bearings File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_cable_attachment.jpg | Cable attachment inside housing File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_housing.jpg | Housing with PCB removed File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_housing_thickness.jpg | Thickness of housing File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_switch_3.jpg | Switch at 3 key, usage unknown File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_pcb_topview_01.jpg | PCB top view File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_pcb_topview_02.jpg | PCB top view File:marquardt_military_keyboard_7069-3111_pcb_topview_03.jpg | PCB top view </gallery> ==References== <references> <ref name="gh-thread">Geekhack - [http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=8016.msg141500 Rugged military keyboard by Marquardt]</ref> <ref name="gh-thread-2">Geekhack - [https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=33130.msg878365#msg878365 What did you get in the mail today?] (page 145, post 7233)</ref> </references> [[Category:Marquardt_keyboards]] [[Category:Keyboards_with_Marquardt_switches]] [[Category:Keyboards with integrated pointing device]] [[Category:List_of_all_keyboards]]
