The latest version of the Tactile Pro uses Matias's own Matias click switches. PC and Macintosh versions exist.

Compared to the Tactile Pro 3 this version also identifies as an Apple Aluminium Keyboard and uses the same layout and key codes as that keyboard.<ref name="ghdiffs"/>

Rollover was increased from 6KRO to 10KRO.<ref name="ghdamp"/>

PC version[edit | edit source]

Officially, the Tactile Pro 4 is a Macintosh-only product, in white, with laser-charred legends. However, the Keyboard Company sell a black version for PCs, in black with laser foamed legends; this appears to be a special-order product for Europe.

The legend printing process suffers from serious aliasing issues, leading to mismatched stroke widths and "jaggies" in the keycap legends.
