==WEAB angled stem== The switches found in the Volker Craig VC404 are of a form that does not correspond to anything in T-5 catalogue extract. Unlike T-5C, the keystems are a conventional height and are angled to provide a [[stepped]] layout. The momentary action switch uses a spring with nine or ten turns, so this is likely to be a medium weight switch. The alternate action switch has a spring with the same number of turns but greater length, making the switch heavier; this may explain why the HS suffix does not apply to alternate action switches. Note that the switches do not have the redundant centre post for lamp terminals, unlike the T-5C switches sold through RS. <gallery widths=250 heights=187> File:MEI WEAB top view.jpg | Top view File:MEI WEAB side locking slider.jpg | Locking switch slider, side File:MEI WEAB bottom casing.jpg | Bottom casing internals, wire contacts are tightly wrapped on terminals File:MEI WEAB bottom casing internals.jpg | Bottom casing internals, wire contact and plastic lever File:MEI WEAB bottom casing internals spring.jpg | Bottom casing internals, with spring File:MEI WEAB spring comparison.jpg | Spring comparison, longer/heavier spring is for the locking switch File:MEI WEAB disassembled1.jpg | Disassembled, locking switch on left File:MEI WEAB disassembled2.jpg | Disassembled, locking switch on bottom File:MEI WEAB disassembled3.jpg | Disassembled, locking switch on bottom File:MEI WEAB locking switch lever.jpg | Notice the locking switch lever cut-out </gallery>
