The TTC MT Hybrid series is a series of hammer over membrane keyswitches produced by TTC. It consists of a common membrane over which individual switch modules, containing a slider, spring and hammer, are suspended. The switch modules are intended to be hotswapable and can be removed and replaced easily. At least two switch modules are known to exist, although only one is known to have been used in a keyboard.

Variants[edit | edit source]

The first variant of this series was a progressive linear switch with a red and black-coloured slider. It features a linear travel which ramps up steeply upon the hammer reaching the membrane.<ref name="gh-xiaomi" /> The sound of the hammer means this switch is sometimes described as clicky, although it is presumably not designed to be.

A second variant has been produced, but has yet to be made publicly available. This is a clicky version with a blue and black-coloured slider.<ref name="gh-ms120" /> The click is generated by a clickbar, similar to some Kailh switches.

Additionally, the unique switch used in the Cooler Master MS120 appears to be closely related to this series and MT Hybrid switch modules can be installed in an MS120 keyboard.
