The Logitech Trackman Wheel T-BB18 is a right-handed thumb controlled trackball. It has three buttons and a scroll wheel. The mouse has a USB interface. The sensor is optical. The ball is red black dotted and has a diameter of 34mm (1.34 inches). The mouse is very ergonomic, for average sized hands. The ball sits on three plastic nipples, they can wear out and must be cleaned because they will have dirt on them after 1-2 days of use which impacts the functionality.
Cleaning instructions[edit | edit source]
- Do not use wd40 for lubrication, you can use isopropyl alcohol to clean it off.
- Pop the ball out, there is a opening under the mouse to push it out.
- Do not drop the ball, it could damage the ball.
- Clean the small plastic nipples and grease the ball.
- You can open the trackball with a 4 philips screwdriver.
- Warning, disconnect the ribbon cable and don't be impatient; the ribbon cable connector is really hard to open, use small pliers to push it out.
