Although Acorn has long since ceased to exist, RISC OS continues to be maintained by other companies.
It has got a revival in recent years as one of the OS options for the ''Raspberry Pi'' single-board computer series.

RISC OS is notable for some of the most intelligent mouse utilisation of any graphical system ever developed.
