DK1087 is the tenkeyless counterpart of the Ducky DK1008 in Ducky's 1000-series range of budget keyboards.
Description[edit | edit source]
It has a detachable USB cord, and has standoffs. The lock keys have integrated LEDs.
Variants[edit | edit source]
Cherry MX[edit | edit source]
Available with Cherry MX Brown, Cherry MX Black and Cherry MX Blue switches. ANSI layout with US English and Chinese legends.
Xiang Min KSB[edit | edit source]
Available with black KSB-N (linear) and green KSB-C (clicky) switches, in ANSI layout with English legends. These variants are popularly referred to as "DK1087XM" (or 1087 XM, DK-1087 XM etc) to differentiate them from the Cherry variants.
For the LED keys, white KSB-LE switches are used. Normally a short light guide is placed into the slot in the switch, but these have been omitted in Ducky boards, leaving a hole in the switch with the LED visible at the bottom.<ref>Imgur — Ducky DK 1087 vs Das Keyboard II. GO!</ref>
The KSB switch version retailed for less money than the Cherry MX version.
