In addition to featuring only one connector variant, the label "Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite" was printed as opposed to "Happy Hacking" that was printed on the Happy Hacking Keyboard.

Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite was released on October 13 1999 in Japan<ref>PFU website - [http://www.pfu.fujitsu.com/hhkeyboard/news9910.html What's New: Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite (Japanese only)]</ref> with no indication on when it was discontinued. It was priced at ¥7,880 (Japanese Yen).
