HP 9816, or HP 9000 Model 216, is a 1982 desktop computer from HP. The computer featured an integrated monitor, and a separate keyboard with Hi-Tek Dovetail Series switches.
The keyboard is based on the stock 10-unit module: four rows from 10 to 13 single-unit keys with a single 8-unit space bar out front on its own. The fifth (back) row is unclear, but it appears to be something like three four-unit modules and two single-unit modules. Many modules have smooth surfaces and Hi-Tek logos, but the right-hand column is composed of modules with a textured surface and no branding.
