The '''AT&T 305''' is a 101-key keyboard commonly known by the designation ''' AT&T Model M''', on account of the striking similarity between this board and the [[IBM Enhanced Keyboard|IBM Model M]]. The circumstances of its manufacture is not known. IBM and later Lexmark and Unicomp are well known for rebranding the IBM Model M but this appears to be one of the few cases of IBM Licensing the design to another company to manufacture either themselves or through another party. The differences between the AT&T M and the IBM M designs are very small, but every part of the AT&T M is different in some distinct and noticeable way with the case of the keyboard being entirely unlike the IBM M. These differences suggest that IBM was not involved in the actual manufacturer of the part as no parts of the AT&T M match any known IBM parts exactly however it is not known if AT&T manufactured this keyboard themselves.

==Variants==

The 305D version uses rubber dome over a membrane, in a construction very similar to the rubber dome version of the Model M.<br>
