Description[edit | edit source]

The NMB RT-8255C+ is an AT compatible keyboard built during the mid 90's in the Asian 101 layout. It's a member of the 4th generation of keyboards using Hi-Tek Space Invader switches. It uses black 2 eye clicky Hi-Tek Series 725 switches for all but the space bar, which uses the blue 2 eye clicky switch. This keyboard does not support XT/AT switching.

Construction and Features[edit | edit source]

This board features medium thickness plastic top and bottom covers, a steel mounting plate, and standard quality 180 degree DIN connector. 7 screws hold the top and bottom case together, with two screws fastening the switch assembly to the bottom case. No clips are used. These components combine into a solid built keyboard with minimal case flex. The keycaps are thick with dye sublimed legends. Two flip-out feet provide for additional elevation. 4 black rubber pads prevent the keyboard from sliding on polished surfaces.
