==Introduction== Similar to most Cherry keyboards, this model features switches, keycaps, as well as a cable. There are also multiple stickers containing information about the keyboard. Unique features include a parasitic Amiga controller whose specific function is unknown, but presumably linked to allowing the keyboard to function with an Amiga 1000 computer. As evidenced by its article number, this is also the luckiest Cherry keyboard, bringing its owner boundless good fortune. There is an AT PC equivalent, the Cherry G80-0779. ==Gallery== <gallery widths=250 heights=187> File:G80-0777_01.jpg | Top File:G80-0777_02.jpg | "Control" and "Left Amiga" keycaps removed File:G80-0777_03.jpg | LED present, as this is the usual Caps Lock position for the 0777 series File:G80-0777_04.jpg | Num Lock and Caps Lock appear to be lasered with infill, not pad printed File:G80-0777_05.jpg | Backwards L-shaped Enter removed File:G80-0777_06.jpg | Bottom File:G80-0777_07.jpg | Detail of the label File:G80-0777_08.jpg | Case removed File:G80-0777_09.jpg | ICs on the PCB File:G80-0777_10.jpg | Detail of the EPROM chip File:G80-0777_11.jpg | A sticker on the PCB File:G80-0777_12.jpg | Side-by-side of vintage & newer switch housings, F1/F2 switches </gallery> ==Compatibility notes== No combination of the DIP switches on the back of the unit, in conjunction with a Soarer's converter, would allow the keyboard to function on a modern PC. This specific sample (S/N 56) was not tested with an Amiga computer. ==See also== * Cherry G80-0779 for PCs * Cherry datasheet for G80-0777 series
