This trackpad can be used both for macro/hotkey input and as a pointing device. Ready-made and custom templates can be fitted to the trackpad to allow it to be used as a large grid of hotkeys. The trackpad is advertised as "programmable" but it's not made clear whether the programming is handled in software, hardware or both. This keyboard is AT / XT switchable, via a single jumper header located on the back of the unit. The trackpad has a dedicated on/off key, while the function keys only run up to F10. The keyboard also has an internal speaker, which emits a small chirp upon normal keystrokes. Internally, the trackpad circuit board is marked as "ELOGRAPHICS INC, E232(3.6 x 3.6)" KB 5153 T, part number 55-50511-003 A, has been found with a manufacture date 1985-10-10. This example has tactile foam and foil switches. <br /> ==Gallery== <gallery> File:Key tronic KB 5153-1.jpg|KB 5153 T File:Key tronic KB 5153 labels-1.jpg|Key tronic Part numbers and labeling File:Key tronic KB 5153 back-1.jpg|Bottom view </gallery> ==Literature== *Key Tronic KB 5153 advertisement and product listing ==References== <references> </references>
