The Kailh PG1442 is a mechanical scissor switch. It has a wide slider around coiled spring and centred light shaft which actuates a metal leaf for actuation and a click bar for tactility and click. The slider also acts as diffuser/light pipe for centred backlighting, while the scissor mechanism provides stability.
Proprietary keycaps locking with the scissor mechanism would be required.
