The '''IBM Model M 50-keys''' is a sub-tenkeyless matrix-layout buckling spring keyboard. Judging from the specialized keycap labels it might have been used as a cashiers keyboard or similar.

The M50 internal assembly is heavy, while the plastic clips that keep the assembly centered are very thin. The plastic clips can get damaged in shipping, even if the keyboard is well packed, if the package gets a lateral shock (for example if it gets dropped on its side).
