Rapoo V7 is a low-cost, fully-programmable keyboard with Kaihua PG1511 series switches.
Description[edit | edit source]
The USB cable is around 1.8 m long and has a gold-plated plug. The keyboard ships with a software program for reassigning key functions including macros. These assignments are stored within the keyboard, and are functional within another computer or operating system.
Actuation was measured to be 43–47 g, coming in around 10% heavier than Cherry MX Red. The box gives the switch specifications as being 50±15 g actuation and with 50 million keystroke lifetime. USB polling rates are given as 125, 500 and 1000 Hz.
The glop-top chip-on-board keyboard controller IC lives on a daughterboard that connects at right angles to the switch PCB, facing the back of the keyboard.
