A replacement "hard membrane" in form of a thin circuit board is available from [https://retroready.one/collections/amiga/products/hard-membrane-keyboard-replacement-for-amiga-500-amiga-1200 Retro Ready] and [https://www.sordan.ie/product/713/new-premium-hard-keyboard-membrane-pcb-amiga-500--1200-green/ Serdan]. It has a small circuit board to go into the ribbon cable connector, which is supposed to last longer. It also fits some [[Commodore Amiga 500|Amiga 500]]'s with Mitsumi switches.

Aftermarket computer cases and keycaps have been offered by [https://www.a1200.net/ A1200.NET] in crowdfunding campaigns. Cases have been improved to better suit aftermarket mods. Both cases and keycaps have been offered in several colour options, including black with white letters.
