Description[edit | edit source]

This keyboard was part of the Sanyo MBC-2000/MBC-3000/FDS-1000 (1982, desktop)

The case consists of top and bottom parts both made of sturdy metal. The PCB sits on a metal plate inside the metal case.

This keyboard uses the 1st generation clicky varaint Fujitsu leaf spring switch. The keycaps are colourful, thick, tall sphericals. If you look real close you can see that the very top of the slider has a really small fine metal tip in the center which is sharp. Also notice the "F" marking on the base switch housing.

The following keycaps are engraved: Tab´s next to spacebar, grey CR, grey ENT, orange CE, orange INS DEL,orange BS and the top navigational arrow. The doubleshot engraved keys are cheaper to make because you only have to mold one type of keycap, then engrave whatever letters you want into it. The top right of the PCB reads: "N86D-6116-R001/02 BUHINMEN". The bottom left PCB above the Fujitsu label reads: "N86D-6116-R001/02 HANDAMEN".
