Hirose Cherry MX Pale Yellow is a rare Cherry MX variant with a pale yellow stem. In comparison with Hirose Cherry MX Clear ("linear") and Hirose Cherry MX Grey Green ("firm linear"), it has been described as a "ultra-firm linear".<ref name="DT-Xerox-1109" />

The switch has been found with both HCP (Hirose Cherry Precision) and Cherry branding on the same ca. 1985 keyboard.<ref name="DT-Xerox-1109" />
