The Magnavox VideoWriter keyboard came with the Magnavox VideoWriter word processor. From what we know, these keyboards can come with a few different varieties of rubber domes, Alps SKCM Brown, Alps SKCL Compact and Mitsumi KPQ Type switches. When the keyboard comes with Brown Alps, Alps SKCL Compact will make up the function row.
Magnavox VideoWriter products were localized and sold in Europe under the Philips brand<ref>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoWriter</ref>.
Models[edit | edit source]
Since there isn't distinct models between the different keyboards, the only visual distinction between the keyboards is the branding. It is currently unclear what models can come with each switch type. There is high possibility that "Made in Japan" keyboards has Alps SKCM Brown switches and those made in Malaysia Mitsumi.
