==Layout==
The Logitech G710 uses a nonstandard PC layout, with 6 additional macro keys on the left-hand side with 3 configurable modes. The control keys are 1.5, the alt keys 1.25, the Windows and menu keys at 1.0, and the space bar at 6.5.

===Logitech G710+===
Introduced in 2012, standard model with orange strip on the left and [[Cherry MX Brown]] keyswitches with preinstalled [[Damping#O-rings|O ring sound dampeners]] under every keycap. MSRP is $130 with Logitech 3 year warranty.

===Logitech G710===
Introduced in 2014, this model has a blue strip on the left and comes with [[Cherry MX Blue]] keyswitches with no preinstalled or included sound dampeners. The Logitech logo has been replaced with a Logitech G logo, however the G710+ retains its Logitech logo. The MSRP is $130 and comes with a Logitech 2 year warranty, strangely (the G710+ comes with 3 years, only difference being keyswitches). 

==History==
On October 9th, 2012, Logitech announced their first mechanical keyboard, the G710+. This was expected from fans due to Logitech having been rumored ordering 10 million [[Cherry MX]] keyswitches. 

In early February of 2014, to promote the keyboard of its sturdiness, Logitech uploaded a video of a 16 ton military tank destroyer running over a G710+ with its treads. The video shows them reassembling keycaps, and the keyboard continuing to function. 

In early September of 2014, unexpectedly and unannounced, Logitech launched the G710 keyboard to be sold alongside the G710+. This version essentially was identical to the G710+, except the keyswitches were now [[Cherry MX Blue]] (without preinstalled sound dampeners). A few aesthetics were also changed, including changing the orange accent found on the G710+ to blue. 

==Reception==
It was and still is rated well by critics and consumers, but it could be argued that is because of its availability and low price.
