The switch has been designed to be more rigid. It includes an internal stabiliser bar of metal.<ref name="hn23ces18"/>

[[Dongguan Mingjian]] in China is believed by many to manufacture it under license from Taiwanese Bloody/A4Tech (confirmation needed).
They manufacture it also to other keyboard manufacturers such as [[Asus]] and [[Razer]].
This includes the "Razer Optical Switch" found in the [[Razer Huntsman]] line of keyboards.
