The NCR H0150-STD1-10-17, or "That OG NCR XT keyboard" as some members in DT called it, is a keyboard manufactured by Cherry Corp for NCR for their PC4/i computer system. The name can be easily mistaken for another NCR keyboard, the NCR H0150-STD1-01-17, since the difference is very slight. The NCR H0150-STD1-01-17 keyboard was part of the NCR Decision Made system, which was the predecessor to NCR PC4 system . Perhaps this led NCR to name these keyboards very closely. NCR H0150-STD1-10-17 uses cherry MX black switches, 5 pin PCB mounted. ==Keyboard construction== Like many other cherry keyboard, this keyboard doesn't have a plate. The pcb lies on the bottom case. There are two plastic pegs on the bottom case that goes into the pcb, keeping it in place. There are a metallic sheet and a plastic sheet underneath the pcb. Despite being relatively light compared to the like of IBM keyboard at the time, the whole assembly is very stable. 8 screws are used to keep the keyboard together. <gallery widths="250" heights="187"> File:7FoOxVs.jpg|Different parts of the keyboard </gallery> ==G80-0427== Previously, this keyboard was documented in the Wiki under Cherry keyboards category as Cherry G80-0427. This is indeed a sufficient approach to document the keyboard, since Cherry, the manufacturer, identified the keyboard as G80-0427. However, another identical keyboard was found under the name G80-0624, with virtually everything similar to the G80-0427. This prompted the need to document both keyboards as two variants of the same keyboard, hence this page. ==G80-0624== As discussed previously, this is another variant of the NCR H0150-STD1-10-17 in US language. <gallery widths="250" heights="187"> File:NCR 10-17 Front view.jpg|Front view File:NCR 10-17 Back label.jpg|Back label File:NCR 10-17 part no.jpg|Part number File:NCR 10-17 Sticker.jpg|Sticker inside </gallery> ==DE variant== Another variant of this keyboard in DE language can be found in Seebart's thread in 2015 ==References== <references> </references>
