Editing Topre EDIUS (section)

==Appearance==
The Topre EDIUS keyboards are essentially rebranded [[Realforce]] keyboards with custom colour-coded keycaps and printed legends corresponding to actions performed in the EDIUS software editor. There are two known variants of the Topre EDIUS keyboard and they are basically identical in appearance, including the colour of the keycaps and their printed legends. The only known difference is the font used for the word 'EDIUS' on the LED indicator plate.

The two known models are the EDKEY2 (EDIUS Keyboard II) and the EDIUSV6KB (EDIUS Keyboard III). The latter is known to have uniformly weighted 45cN [[Topre switches]]. One interesting feature present on both keyboards is that the Windows and Menu/Application keys share the same [[Keycap profile|profile]] as a row 'C' (A,S,D,F...) keycap. It is not known why this is the case, but it could perhaps be to reduce the chance of accidentally pressing these keys.
