The Ducky Shine 2 was launched in 2012 as a replacement of the original Ducky Shine. It features blue, brown, black, red and clear Cherry MX switches.
Model numbers[edit | edit source]
Ducky used two model naming schemes during the life of Ducky Shine 2 keyboards, where the second one accommodates the extra options released later with different colours for cases and keycaps.
Please note that not all combinations of layouts and colours were available.

- A = switch type (A = Cherry MX Black, B = Cherry MX Brown, C = Cherry MX Blue, R = Cherry MX Red, W = Cherry MX Clear)
- BB = layout, eg. "US", "UK", "FI", etc.
- C = backlight colour (B = Blue, G = Green, P = Purple, R = Red, T = Orange, W = White, Y = Yellow)
