'''Cherry G83 series''' appears to be Cherry's standard office grade [[rubber dome|rubber sheet]] ("RS") keyboard series. The series appears to be placed in between the [[Cherry G82 series|G82 series]] and the [[Cherry G86 series|G86 series]].

Cherry refer to these keyboards as '''NTK''' ('''New Technology Keyboard'''), while model numbers begin "RS". The stems of the switching mechanism are integrated into the keycaps. Both the [[Cherry 3000 style|3xxx]] and the 6xxx form factor cases are in use for G83 series keyboards.

Standard keys provide a lifetime of 20 million actuations, while special keys provide 5 million actuations.
