Dai-Ichi is or was a clone switch manufacturer, or a brand of such a company. The actual company in question has not been identified. "Dai-Ichi" (Japanese: 第一) means "one" or "first", but Dai-Ichi is likely to have been a Taiwanese company using a Japanese name, similar to Himake (a Taiwanese switch manufacturer) and the name of the Taiwanese-made Aruz switch.
